Neapolitan heart, international flair
Born in '85, with a soul from Naples but professionally boundless, Marco Veneruso was passionate about the culinary world from an early age, helping his mother in the kitchen and his grandmother on the family farm on the slopes of Vesuvius. He arrived at the Splendide after several important international experiences, serving as a resident and then executive chef in major hotel chains.
In 2019, he was awarded his first Michelin star at the Italian restaurant Niko Romito at the Bulgari Hotel in Beijing, as the only non-national cuisine restaurant.
